Last job yesterday was a lady from Grays in Essex who had Fiesta lost keys to her to a 2010 plate Ford while shopping at Asda in Tilbury. The procedure involved in programming new keys is firstly done by wiping the old keys from the cars memory. (This stops anyone from driving car away if they had found or indeed stolen the car keys). And then programming the transponder chips inside the keys to the immobiliser system. From there on this particular model the remote key is done via a manual procedure. The Lady was then able to proceed in packing away her now semi defrosted shopping.
