First job of the day was a window fitter who had lost his van keys to his vivaro. Our Chelmsford locksmith was with the customer in 20 minutes.

This proved to be quite a tricky job as after he had stripped out the door lock and Cut a new key.  It was then realised  that the key did not fit in the vans ignition, This had been changed on a previous occasion. We then gave 3 options to the window fitter. The first option was  to replace his door locks at the same time to match the key. The second option was to make a ignition vehicle to the original lockset.  And finally the third option being to have a different key to the door and ignition. On this occasion the customer was to take the third option as he said it was only a runaround, and  was going to get shot of the van in the near future.

Our locksmiths job then was to pick the barrel decode and produce a key cut to code for that as well.
